A Bold Lip Trio

Recently I have been loving a bold lip as part of my makeup routine, it basically makes you look like you've made an effort. Lazy makeup at its best! Adding a pop of colour to a look can really brighten the face and I have been obsessed. The products I have been using recently to create my fuss-free look are the Dior Addict Fluid Stick in Wonderland, the Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm in Unapologetic and the Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet in Ole Flamingo.

Lets start with Dior because that's how all things should start. The colour is gorgeous, a bright hot pink with a gloss finish. An almost oil-like consistency that glides onto the lips and sticks to them almost instantly. It's a really beautiful product but comes with a price, at £25 its a bit of a splurge but so, so worth it!

Next up, it's Revlon with one of their fairly new releases of the Colorburst range. The Matt Balms are my favourite so far with their unbeatable lasting power and amazing colour range. Unapologetic caught my eye, a bright coral with an almost fluorescent glow that looks incredible on the lips and at a super affordable price of £8.99, it's a keeper!

Last up, its the Rouge Edition Velvets from Bourjois. I picked up Ole Flamingo, a true, almost raspberry pink. Again a slippery, oily texture but its truly a dream to apply and dries matt in seconds. An absolute b**** to remove but the ideal product for going out for a meal or drinks. It. Won't. Move!

Loving La Roche-Posay

La Roche-Posay has fast become one of my go-to skincare brands. The range of products is really wonderful and caters for any skin need. Being a girl with skin as dry as the Sahara, I am a huge fan of the HYDRAPHASE line, however, TOLERAINE and HYDREANE are also really lovely. La Roche-Posay is reliable, not too expensive and in my opinion, amazing.

The first product to bring to your attention in the Hydraphase Intense for eyes. I bought this a year ago in a Parisian pharmacie and since then, I've been obsessed. Its cooling gel formula instantly de-puffs sleepy eyes and injects some much needed moisture.

To keep imperfections at bay, Serozinc is the pièce de résistance when it comes to toners. Its composition of zinc sulphate solution gently disinfects the skin, making it free from bacteria, pollution etc. Currently not available in the UK but rumour is that it is sailing over the English Channel very soon!

For a day moisturiser, I was something super light and nourishing. Toleriane Riche is exactly that, its simple formula leaves my skin prepped for makeup and nicely moisturised all day.

The newest addition to my LRP stash comes in the form of Hydraphase Intense Riche Moisturiser. Currently holding the position as my night moisturiser, it keeps my skin from drying out overnight without feeling heavy. It's lovelllyyy.

Most available on feelunique or Boots. Or if you happening to be wondering around Paris!

New Video: Lip Product Addict TAG

After filming this video, I have officially come to terms with the fact that I am completely and worryingly so, obsessed with lip products. I have now banned myself from even glancing at the MAC lipstick stand or putting one toe into Boots. Extreme measures must be taken.

A Healthy Breakfast

Being a slight breakfast virgin, fifteen extra minutes in bed was always given more priority, I am genuinely surprised to be writing this post about my new love affair with porridge. Nevertheless, I have been currently tucking into a bowl of porridge every morning, made with almond milk, sliced up banana and a swirl of honey. It is ridiculously easy to make, super healthy and keeps me full until lunchtime. I am a serious porridge convert ... how dull.

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Luminous Flush

The excitement surrounding the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powders never massively sucked me in, being a huge fun of Chanel Les Beiges, I didn't have a yearning to envelope myself in the Hourglass hype. Yes, they looked beautiful and the packaging was reason in itself to run to Space NK clutching £38 to seal the deal but I resisted. Hourglass then released the Ambient Lighting Blushes and I crumbled.

The gorgeously individual, almost personalised, marbleised effect on the blush consisting of a beautiful fuchsia pink and champagne highlight had me on the first glance. When brushed onto the cheeks, it appears slightly coral and so, so radiant. No need for extra highlight, this has enough glow to make even Kim K proud. The pigmentation and creamy texture of this blush is incredible and makes application a breeze. Can you tell that I am slightly obsessed? I am so close to running to Space NK clutching £28 to buy another shade!
